"Lost Hours" / The shortest story I've written in a long time. It's also the fastest I've written anything, start to finish in just five days. We'll see how it goes when I start editing. This is the way.
A forward-trending thinker in a backward-trending world.
I've embarked on a quest to write a novel.

Well, That Was Fast
This is the fastest I've ever written a story.
I started this story, currently titled "Lost Hours," was started on 10/11, and worked on it every day until 10/16. At that time, I stopped to do the next edit on The Fast Fading Light. I finished the edits , then turned my attention back to the story.
I just finished it.
Prior to this, the fastest I'd written a short story was "A God To Dance With," which I wrote in thirty days.
"Lost Hours" was written in about five days. I don't have a word count yet, but it's not long.
Yay me.

17 October 2022 / Back To Journaling...Again
I've decided to yet again try Journaling. This will be the fourth time I've tried to do this. I'm going to try a keep with it this time. I'm hoping to use it as a way to vent my frustrations, talk out my issues, and generally try to get my head together. I started back on the fourteenth, and have written every day. We'll see if I can keep it up. This is the way.

The Fast Fading Light / The next edit...it's 157 pages long...this may take a while. I sigh deeply. This is the way.

Under the Dark of the Moon / Just over 86,000 words, and starting Chapter 29. A little bit of quiet before they move against the Hunters' HQ. It's taken me over 14 years to get to this point. With luck and determination, it won't take too much longer to get to the end. It'll take as long as it takes. It's a marathon, not a sprint, after all. This is the way.

Spiritus Mundi / Carly and Murphy are sent to investigate two murders on a MilSci research station on the edge of known space. Carly's got something on her mind...or has she figured something out? Time will tell. This is the way.
