I've reached 7,314 words on Side Project 1, "The Fault Lies Not". Considering everything I want to do in the rest of the story, I don't know if I'm going to keep it under 10,000. Not that I'm too concerned about the word count. Whenever asked, I usually say that the story will be as long as it takes to tell the story. (Some say that shorter works stand a better chance of getting published. I'm not convinced; I've found plenty of publishers who will take works over 10,000 words.)
Hopefully I’ll be able to stay on track and get the story finished. I have at least one more story about Lin and I’d like to get to it.
Now, excuse me while I rant a moment...
I NEED A GOD DAMN AIRCARD FOR MY LAPTOP!
