07/17/13 - Progress
Finally finished typing up the second draft of ON A COLD WIND. It came in at fifteen chapters, 33,313 words. That puts it squarely in the range of a novella, rather than a novel. And I'm okay with that. I could've padded the story to make it longer but that would've taken away from the story itself. As it stands now, I told the story I wanted to tell in the way I wanted to tell it.
Now to let it rest until September before I start editing.

What Passes For A Plot Outline...
Spent a chunk of the day plotting Chapter 21 of Before The Dawn. Here's what passes for a plot outline in my writing life...
Yeah, it's just some notes sketching out what I think is going to happen in the chapter. From these notes I'll work out the details and write the chapter.
It works for me.
